Terry takes his family camping on The Family Crews finale

On the first season finale of The Family Crews Terry Crews just landed a new acting job with rapper/actor/producer Icecube, but that's the good news. The bad news is the job is in Connecticut and he would be gone away from his family for 6 months.

Before Terry revealed the news to his wife and kids he took Rebecca to an open mic session at a club where comedian Tommy Davidson was hosting. Terry convinced him to add his wife Rebecca to the open mic singing list.

At first Rebecca didn't want to sing but Terry boosted up her confidence when he got on stage and said a few words in her honor-he even sang for her!

When Rebecca got on stage she was nervous and having a hard time adjusting to the keyboard settings. Once she got herself together she began singing and playing the keyboard at the same time. She sang a slow ballad that she wrote for her best friend.

The next day Terry took his family on a camping trip on a RV rental. At the camping trip everyone was hungry and since they were camping, Terry decided to go fishing. That idea didn't work out too well so instead Rebecca ordered some pizza and to everyone's surprise it was delivered to the camping site.

After eating and roasting marshmellows over the fire, Terry disclosed the news he had been keeping from them. His youngest daughter Winfrey didn't take it too well and she began to cry because she didn't want her dad to leave. Rebecca was happy he got another job but she was also disappointed. She just started working on her singing career again and didn't want to go back.

When the Crews arrived home Terry had another surprise. He hired a interior decorator to remodel their home. He even asked Jorge, Naomi's boyfriend to help the decorator. The family was excited when they saw their new modeled home. Rebecca knew Terry did all those things to make up for himbeing gone for 6 months, but she told him that, "material things doesn't make up for his absence."
