We will eventually find out how Tiger Woods' public apology will play out before members of the public -- but so far he has drawn support from some of his corporate partners. Two of the companies that have stuck closest to Woods since his scandal erupted in November have come out with statements supporting him since he went public Friday.
Nike says it "fully supports him and his family" and that the company looks forward to having him return to golf. Electronic Arts, which makes a Tiger Woods-branded PGA Golf Game, says it is "supportive of his focus toward family and rebuilding his life." A statement from the president of EA Sports says Woods "remains one of the greatest athletes in history" and that the company looks forward to seeing him back on the golf course when the time is right for both him and his family.
