Cuddly and adorable he may look, but this is one little infant who's been the victim of some early tough love.
In fact it's not been easy for Pinky since he was rejected by his mother moments after being born at Busch Gardens in Tampa, Florida.
Staff at the park were forced to care for the quirky-looking creature just hours after his birth on April 10.
‘We stepped in after discovering his mother wasn’t attentive,’ said a Busch spokesman.
It may have been a less than perfect start for the new arrival but he is now thriving and has made his first public appearance at the US park.
