Tuesday's Season 8 finale of "One Tree Hill" was not the series finale -- just hours before airtime, The CWofficially picked up a 13-episode Season 9. That said, it could have easily served as a satisfying end to the series. Though Mark Schwahn shot several cliffhangers to end the season on in case Season 9 got the green light, he ultimately decided to end with some closure.

The season ender spanned a year - so much time that Brooke Davis (Sophia Bush) went from having just learned of her pregnancy to giving birth to twin boys, Davis and Jude. With Davis, Brooke and Julian (Austin Nichols) stuck with the Tree Hill trend of naming their kids after their mothers' maiden names, while Jude's name came from "Hey Jude," which John Lennon wrote for his son, Julian.

She was also enjoying the successful reopening of Karen's Cafe, which she and Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) opened in a sweet homage to Haley's childhood sanctuary. The Cafe provided a stage for Haley to perform a cover of Toad the Wet Sprocket's "Walk On the Ocean"... and for Nathan (James Lafferty) to give a hilarious performance of his own. (Let's just say that the DILF factor on this episode was truly outstanding.)

Elsewhere, Mouth (Lee Norris) and Millie (Lisa Goldstein) scored their own Tree Hill morning show, and Chase (Stephen Colletti) returned from a year in the Air Force to reunite with Alex (Jana Kramer). We were treated to music from Kramer, set in the background, and in a sweet moment, we even saw Mia (Kate Voegele) perform one of her new songs before a final moment with Chase. After Clay (Robert Buckley) returned from a successful scouting trip with Nathan, he and Quinn (Shantal VanSanten) resumed their saccharine love story

The affair was attended by a lot of country stars including Reba McEntire, Dierks Bentley, Martina McBride, The Bellamy Brothers and Charles Kelley of Lady Antebellum. There was also Shelton's "The Voice" co-judge Cee-Lo Green among the 550 attendees.

Lambert, according to some reports, were wearing her mother's wedding dress. She hinted earlier this week that guests would be served venison as she posted a photo of deer cuts on Twitter. Meanwhile, country star Neal McCoy reportedly was asked to be part of the entertainment.

Shelton, who was once married to a long-time girlfriend, expressed his joy after the wedding, saying "I wanted to be married to Miranda the day I proposed. Finally, it's official!" He started dating Lambert in 2006 and popped the question in May last year.

Lambert and her husband may not have plenty of time to go on a honeymoon. In less than two weeks, Blake is due to be back in Oklahoma and perform two shows for tornado victims. Then the couple will perform at the CMA Music Festival which is held June 9 to 12 in Nashville.

It looks as if Prince William and Kate, who are taking their honeymoon, aren't the only ones getting a little rest and relaxation after the royal wedding. The wildly famous royal sister has hit Madrid with one ex-boyfriend and several girlfriends.

As the royal wedding took place and just after, many speculated that Prince Harry and Pippa Middleton seemed to be getting along famously and wondered if there was another set of nuptials coming up for the two families. However, shortly after that, word hit that the sexy royal sister was dating one-time footballer Alex Louder. Now, though, she has stunned the world and kept everyone guessing by jetting off to Madrid with an old flame--one George Percy. Perhaps while she is there, Pippa Middleton will try her hand at topless sunbathing again.

It seems Percy has more royal connections than Louder. He is the son of the Duke of Northumberland, who just so happens to be among the richest men in Britain. Not bad little sister, not bad. Hooking up with Prince Harry would be too obvious since big sister Kate hooked the someday-heir to the throne.

The group of friends partied at Fortuna nightclub, which is one of the most exclusive clubs in Madrid. Could she be rekindling an old romance? Who knows? One thing is certain that after the hubbub surrounding the royal wedding, she deserves some R&R just as much as Prince William and Kate do on their honeymoon. Hopefully she's having a ball.

Marie O'Riordan, former Marie Claire editor, thinks the girl with the taut derrière is wallowing in the media attention, loves the fame and swelling line of eligible bachelors with tongues in tow.

She believes the topless sunbathing photos, while unexpected, are probably increasing Pippa Middleton's net worth in the social arena among A-listers.

Okay, you've gotten two different view points about feminism, gawkers, media frenzy, and the possible vetting of a future bride by way of the paparazzi.

Sure, it's a matter the Royal family doesn't need; Sarah Ferguson was a hand and mouthful. But at the end of the day, the 27-year-old Doppelganger of Kate Middleton is probably not at risk of a banishing from Royals.

It's no doubt the Pippa Middleton topless photos of her sunbathing and partying up a storm in a bra (minus a top) cause eyebrows to arch.

But is the media in collusion and indicting one human being for a moment in her life meant as a private one?
