The man who has been laying low for the past few years made a sudden comeback with last nights fight in Mexico as he overwhelmed – not as entirely as one would want – his opponent Jose Alfaro.
The Erik Morales vs Jose Alfaro fight is something that will give Morales a serious morale” boost as he must prepare for his ultimate challenge, Manny Paquiao, the man who lost from Morales once but never let him win a second time. A lot of his fans and followers were concerned about Morales for they feared that he had been out of the game too long but then yesterday’s battle did its bit in reassuring the crowd for just that little bit. Manny is no child you see, whereas Alfaro is a good seven years younger than Morales and a good deal lighter.

energetic of the two but when the vote came in from the judges in the end it was clear that experience does count for something and that its not just all about energy and strength. The middle of the match brought some grave concerns for Morales followers as the two got involved in some heavy duty exchanges letting it all out but then Morales seemed to come out of it fine. The score at the end was 117 to 111 from one judge and 116 to 112 from the other two giving Morales an unquestioned win.
