On February 26, 2010 Marie Osmond’s 18 year old son Michael Blosil committed suicide by jumping from the 8th floor of his apartment in Los Angeles. On Monday 8th March 2010 her son’s dead body was taken for the last prayers. Michael Blosil’s funeral was held on Monday 8th March 2010 at The Church of Jesus Christ and Latter-day Saints in Provo, Utah. Before his death he left a suicide note which was found later by his best friend Ruthann Clawson.
At the funeral ceremony Marie Osmond’s whole family condoled her. Osmond wore black dress and grief was clearly visible on her face when her 18years old son’s body being taken away to rest in peace forever. His sudden death was shocking for her and she was unable to accept the reality. About 450 family members and friends attended the ceremony and his body was taken by the pallbearers that included his uncle Donny Osmond and Michael’s brothers Merrill, Wayne, Jay and Jimmy. Michael Blosil was Marie Osmond’s adopted son and he had been suffering from depression. Michael Blosil’s biological mother also attended the ceremony. Marie Osmond said
