It amazes me how popular a manga series such as Bleach has become. Here we are at the 284th Episode and people are still just as excited about it as they were some 250 episodes ago. Being that today is August 17th 2010, Bleach Episode 284 was released this morning. The Title of this episode is, hain of Sacrifice, Harribel’s Past”.
For those unfamiliar with Bleach, it is written by as well as illustrated by a Japanese writer named Tite Kubo. The first episode was released back in 2000, and it’s success has continued to grow both in Japan as well as around the world. In North America, the license belongs to Viz Media who has been serializing and releasing the episodes for close to three years now. Bleach has been used in all sorts of media worldwide including a rock musical, trading card games, video games, films, and anime. The Manga series sold over 1.2 million copies in North America alone, and the Japanese version of the manga series sold over 50 million copies. Clearly Bleach is an amazing Success.
